This young dynamic winery is full of energy and creativity. With the drive of passionate winemakers, led by Felipe Tosso they are producing wines that are unique and characterful.
Upon swirling your glass you’ll notice the brilliance of this wine immediately. A vibrant deep ruby color reflects the light in the room is if it were trying to sing for you. Closer inspection greets you with a playfully serious breath of roasted fig and raspberry. An essence of restrained herbs and spice follow while leading you to a taste of boysenberry and smoked pepper. Soft tannins extenuate the experience, leaving you with a long and thoughtful finish.
About the wine
The Carménère vines are planted in red clay and the Syrah in a granitic soil with some clay content. Both varieties are located on the upper slopes of Apalta. The soils are between 1 and 2.5 metres in depth and the blocks are located at 400 to 470 metres above sea level. Harvest: The Syrah grapes were manually harvested between 20 and 30 of April and the Carménère between 21 and 28 of April.
