"Whoa, a mouthful of fruit!"
Wine Enthusiast

It's back in greatest vintage yet! The Treana label capitalizes on the trifecta of elements that make Paso Robles ideal for winemaking: sun, soil, and the sea. From vineyards that ripen intensely flavourful Cabernet Sauvignon, Treana sculpts bold, intense red wines that remain smooth, elegant, and refined on the palate.

The Hope family has been grounded in the Central Coast of California for nearly 40 years, and still remains intrigued by (and in love with!) the magical combination of sunny skies and ocean breezes that make Paso Robles such a special region. Austin Hope learned from one of the best in Chuck Wagner of Caymus. He carries his family torch, and has built Treana into one of Paso's powerhouse wineries!

About the wine

Laser-focused on sun-loving reds, the Treana label translates Paso’s terroir into reds worthy of decanting, but still thoroughly BBQ ready. Blackberry pie, pomegranate, black currant and cassis jockey for position on the palate, picking up after aromas of mocha, cinnamon spice, and fresh fruit jam. The finish is unexpectedly (and refreshingly) delicate, rounded out by notes of leather and lavender in a compelling, long finish.

"Aromas of black cherry, caramel sauce, dried herbs and crushed rocks lead into a palate shaped by strong yet relenting tannins. Flavors of oak and more dark cherry ride a silky mouthfeel."
