“The palate is gratifying with outstanding fruit power and richness, beautifully framed by loads of silky tannins.”
The main vineyard in this wine, Peterson Vineyard consists of 7.8 acres planted to Pinot Noir clones 828, 667, 05, 115 and 777. What does all this mean? It means they have taken every painstaking bit of energy to plant the most amazing vineyard in the region.
This vineyard has a perfect South East exposure overlooking the Salinas River Valley and benefits from the unique SLH terroir. The Santa Lucia Highlands offer a cool, ocean influenced climate, with morning fog burning off to midday sun and cooling afternoon winds. The overall climactic combination results in an especially long growing season that allows the grapes to fully develop and attain maximum potential. Pinot Noir thrives in this environment and it shows in the quality of this stunning Pinot Noir!

"Medium garnet coloration. Nose is cranberry, strawberry, candied plum, vanilla, and floral. Flavors follow the nose, with the addition of a mineral note. Nicely balanced, with a soft, smooth overall presentation. Medium bodied with a lengthy finish. Really quite enjoyable." John M.
"Cada vez me gusta más el Pinot Noir, y este calidad precio es una gozada." Alejandro P. (Every time I like Pinot Noir more, and this quality price is a joy)
