About the wine
Produced in the Cru Rocche dell'Annunziata of the municipality of La Morra, the Barolo 2013 Rocche dell'Annunziata has all the characteristics of the great Barolo. Born from old vines, on a small portion of land (about 4 hectares), where the Nebbiolo is cultivated with extreme rationality and with very low yields to favor concentration and flavor. The wine is a deep ruby red with garnet highlights, absolutely seamless!
"It is vinified with Nebbiolo grapes coming from small vineyards in Morra and Verduno. Maceration lasts about two weeks; is refined for 24 months in oak barrels of Slavonia and for at least a year in the bottle. Elegant and soft on the palate, yes it is characterized by fruity scents and balsamic, tannicity is balanced and well integrated with the fruit." - Winemaker notes
