The Wagner Family can’t stop creating the World’s Most Desirable Wines! Caymus is Foundational, Meomi changed the World, Red Schooner blew away the Critics, today - Quilt Napa Cab is ready to take on the world of wine!
Joe Wagner has stitched together a sumptuous Cab through a patchwork of killer grapes culled from a “who’s who” of Napa appellations, like Oakville, Atlas Peak, and Howell Mountain.
This sensual Cab Sauvignon represents a brilliant viticultural patchwork, as Joe Wagner painstakingly traverses some of Napa’s most astounding appellations to source exquisite fruit worthy of his family’s legacy.
About the wine
"While the majority of the fruit (70%) comes from the floor of the Napa Valley to achieve the richness and elegance desired, we also relied on some grapes grown at elevation on Napa Valley benchlands and hillsides for a final blend with more structure and complexity than we could have achieved had we used fruit grown solely on the Valley floor."
It’s a wine that lives up to the expectations that naturally come with the Wagner surname, making it an essential piece of any Napa Cab lover’s collection.

"Cassis, plum, black cherry, dark chocolate and cream debut voluminously. Smothering mid is caramel, overripened strawberry and plump blackberry. Black licorice, mild pepper and brown sugar ring out from the abyss with vanilla parfait in its wake. Very low oak tannins. Long close." Papi G.
"Plum, cassis, hint of tobacco. Mild tannins. Smooth finish." D Mac
"Wonderful. Everything anyone might want in a big Napa cab. Has bold fruit, nice cocoa and a nice long finish. Paired with a thick ribeye and mushrooms." Murray

"Frankly ripe, with a vivid beam of creamed plum, açaí and boysenberry fruit flavors, glistening with vanilla-accented toast through a polished finish. Aimed squarely at the hedonist crowd. Drink now through 2022."
