Crossbarn is Paul Hobbs latest Magic Trick, and its complexity highlights exactly why Robert Parker crowned him Winemaker of the Year...TWICE. An excellent Pinot Noir that will change the way you enjoy wine.

Winemaker Paul Hobbs could probably coax an unforgettable wine from a box of Sun-Maid California raisins, but when he’s surrounded by California’s best vineyards drinkable wizardry is bound to ensue.

About the wine

Winemaker Notes
Deep garnet in the glass with aromas of dried cranberries, bramble berry, and baking spices like Cinnamon and nutmeg. On the palate, tart acid with flavors of cherry and Santa Rosa plum. Juicy and spicy with earthy notes of black tea and red clay. A light to medium weight on the palate with a medium finish dusted with well-developed tannins.

"Great value wine - cherry and strawberry, smooth finish of current and light chocolate. Heading back to grab a case!" —Wes S.

92 Points, James Suckling
"Fresh raspberries, lemon rind, orange zest, rhubarb, red cherries and fresh herbs. Medium-bodied with bright acidity, firm tannins and a fresh, medium-chewy finish. Real Sonoma pinot."

91 Points, Wine Spectator
"Crisp and well-structured, with a sinewy texture to the ripe cherry and dried berry flavors. The inky finish offers hints of pepper and mocha."
