"Love it."

Christy Canterbury, Master of Wine
"Irancy is one of THE most beautiful appellations in France"
"Maison de la Chapelle is also our home, it’s a place for friends and sharing experiences with other winemakers from Irancy. The simple expression of "Homemade" for us, means what it says."  — Delphine & Grégory Viennois
90 Points, Robert Parker
"Aromas of ripe cherries, raspberries and dark chocolate introduce the 2017 Irancy, a medium to full-bodied, fleshy and muscular wine, framed by powdery tannins. Produced entirely from free-run juice, it's a dramatic, more modern rendition of Irancy that will offer a broad drinking window."

About the Wine
Maison de la Chapelle is inspired by wineries that preserve the prestige of Burgundy wines, as much as those of the Rhone and Bordeaux regions ... the best appellations in France. Maison de la Chapelle is our working environment, it’s where the grapes become wine. Fermentation, maceration, ageing and bottling, is all carried out on site; the time necessary is taken and time honoured methods are employed.

"Such a nice wine; this house actually only produces some Irancy's from different terroirs around the village. This is a very nice blend of different climats (and different PN clones probably). Very elegant, but needed some time to open up. Floral nose with red fruits, very gentle and soft aroma's. Some smokiness. Well balanced with good acidity. This stuff is a bit more subtle than what is made in the famous Côtes. Love it." Julian

Christy Canterbury, MW
"Irancy is one of THE most beautiful appellations in France, with a postcard perfect town snuggled into the bottom... So, it isn’t too curious that the appellation sells about 80% of its wine from the cellar doors! Delphine & Grégory impressively has worked in Burgundy’s Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits, Bordeaux and the Rhône..."
