From the rugged hillsides of Russian River Valley, Hartford Court Pinot Noir invites anyone daring enough to pop the cork on a flavor-packed excursion. Caramelized cherry and pomegranate dominate this silky 2015 release. They have sculpted a Pinot Noir that WOWs with the grape’s traditional lightness and elegance, and added spice, density and RRV character. This experience is one that won’t last a lifetime--don’t wait!
About the wine
Ultra Limited Bottlings
Hartford Court specializes in making wines from single vineyard sites. In recent vintages they have made about 25 different single vineyard bottlings. Small and low-yielding vineyards deliver expressive and personality-rich wine. Their single vineyard Hartford Court Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays total as few as 93 cases, up to about 800 cases. Their single vineyard wines are highly allocated and the RRV is very hard to come by.
They feel that Pinot Noir makes the most seductive red wine, notable for its supple, silky texture. Pinot Noir is also known for expressing vineyard site characteristics in a transparent manner.

"This is a Pinot favorite.”

"The fruit for this wine is sourced from the estate as well as sites across the appellation. Juicy waves of cherry and cardamom ride a full-bodied, concentrated framework of exotic flavors, bright acidity and velvety texture."

"Medium ruby-purple colored, the 2016 Hartford Court Pinot Noir Russian River Valley reveals lovely crushed black cherries, mulberries and black raspberries notions with hints of candied violets, black soil and iron ore plus a waft of bay leaves. Medium to full-bodied, it fills the palate with black fruit and earthy accents supported by a firm frame of finely grained tannins and finishes with a refreshing lift."
