The John Lewis is poppin’ with rich, ripe, creamy wild berry intensity! It is a flavor sensation of almost mocha-esque sweet deliciousness...it is simply astounding!
Master Sommeliers have unparalleled access to the world's best wines and their makers, and Greg Harrington joined the producers’ ranks with this unparalleled Syrah as the result! Only 6 cases of this highly allocated wine available!
About the wine
“Rhone Ranger” winemaker Greg Harrington has brought his love of Rhone varietals to the Pacific Northwest with passion and persuasion. Falling in love with Walla Walla during a visit to the area, Greg, and his wife Pam, decided to set up camp. Opening the doors to Gramercy Cellars in 2005, vintage after vintage, the winery continue to outdo themselves!
When winemaker Greg Harrington starts talking about this wine and says, “...this is one of the most exciting John Lewis wines made at the winery to date.” we listen. Taking influence from the Rhone Valley, Gramercy’s John Lewis Syrah has this incredible complexity that will only continue to develop with some aging. Bursting from the glass, notes of sour cherry, raspberry, cracked black pepper and red flower entice the senses. The delicate nose of the wine is almost deceptive as the mouthful is strong and structured. Only 280 cases of this wine was made so don’t miss out.

"Another tour de force, the 2015 Syrah John Lewis offers more lavender, violets, and minerality, as well as incredible black and blue fruits. This peppery, meaty, rich, full-bodied effort has building tannin, awesome purity, and integrated acidity, and it's certainly one of the finest Syrahs in the vintage... Bravo!"
