Guachezco Oro represents the maximum expression of Guachezco Winery. As our flagship wine, Gauchezco Oro is the gold winner of the winery. Oro is only produced when the harvest deems itself worthy. It is the result of our expertise from the vineyard to the bottle. With low yield old historical Malbec vines in Barrancas-Maipu and with 16 months aging in barrels of French, American and Hungarian oak; It combines elegance, complexity with a sublime and delicate balance.

"Lovely Malbec!!"

94 pts, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

"Of the three appellation bottlings I tasted from 2014, the 2014 Oro Malbec Appellation Gualtallary felt the oakiest, with plenty of smoke and dark spice aromas and also black fruit notes. The palate revealed lots of creamy oak flavors and a dusty texture, partly from the soil, but I'm afraid also possibly from the élevage. Maybe with more time in bottle? 3,250 bottles were filled in September 2016."
