"Blackberries, wet moss, vanilla spice. A bit of everything. Makes me hungry for duck."
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
92-94 / 100

A great example of Saint Joseph. Beautiful inky color. Very exciting nose of sweet espresso beans, white pepper and Asian spices. Also, blood oranges, cassis and blueberry. This world-class winemastery is on the cherished slopes of St Joseph in one of the greatest vintages in decades!

About the wine

Saint-Joseph is another classic appellation from Northern Rhône. This wine shows powerful aromas of red fruit and flowers and a long, spicy finish. A very well made bottle, still quite young so if you have the patience, we would advise to wait a couple of years to enjoy it better... In any case, you should easily understand why it received 92-94 from Robert Parker!

Another huge, sexy wine is the 2015 St Joseph La Source, which at this quality, sells for a song. Black raspberries, cassis, red currants, licorice and graphite all emerge from this full-bodied beauty that has sweet tannin and a stacked mid-palate. It will benefit from 2-3 years of bottle age and drink well for over a decade. Twenty-eight bucks? More please.
