Don't let this one pass you by!
This small chateau tucked away in northern Médoc is nothing short of impressive. Fourth generation winemaking and over-delivering at every sip. This is everything we are looking for in a Bordeaux and at this price, you’re crazy not to take a case.
Winemaker and proprietor, Jérôme Bibey, has done an excellent job and bringing this long standing chateau into modern times. From revamping the winery to taking charge with a Merlot based blend (uncommon for the area), he’s stirring up quite a following.
About The Wine
In perfect harmony the plush Merlot is supported by Cabernet Sauvignon with a splash of brooding Cabernet Franc in the background to wow even the most discerning palate. We can’t get enough of this beauty. Wafts of dark berries and cassis lure you in and at first sip, you’re hooked. Perfect for grilling or an evening in front of the fire.
This beautiful little Bordeaux is the wine you want to share with your friends and keep for yourself all at the same time.

"Big ripe fruit and a generous body are matched by lively acidity and rather elegant tannins in this modern style Medoc that has a long, rather polished finish."

"Tasted at the Cru Bourgeois annual tasting, the 2015 Labadie has an impressive bouquet of blackberry, bilberry and tobacco scents that gain intensity with aeration. I like the focus and breeding here. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin, a fine line of acidity, fresh from start to finish with a subtle marine note on the finish. This is a very fine Médoc, clearly the best since 2010." (NM)

“The 2015 Château Labadie is a blend of 53% Merlot, 44% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 3% Cabernet Franc. It immediately opens with aromas of ripe blackberries, tobacco, fresh mint, tar, wild herbs and earth. It has delicious plush tannins with lots of dark fruits and spice flavors as it caresses the palate into the silky finish. A great valued Médoc that should be enjoyed now or with some short-term cellaring.”
