About the wine
A ‘dream vintage’, produced by a dreamy winery! Beringer is well known around the globe, and for good reason. Producing exceptional wine is their business, and they do it oh, so well! The Quantum Red Blend showcases what Beringer does best, Cabernet Sauvignon and mountain fruit. Half of the blend is sourced from prestigious Howell Mountain vineyards, which focus on the uncompromising structure of their Cab Sauv.
Since 1875, Beringer has been pushing the boundaries of Napa elegance with innovation and foresight, while remaining pure to its heritage and tradition - making with that Jacob Beringer would be proud of. Among a long list of accomplishments, Beringer is the only winery to ever have both a red and white wine named #1 Wine of the Year by Wine Spectator!

"Well worth the price. It'll be even better in a few years." - Michael P.

"This robust Californian red wine blend of mostly Cabernet Sauvignon along with Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petit Syrah and a splash of Petit Verdot is greater than the sum of its parts, thus the name Quantum. When tiny quantum units combine they create systems of tremendous value and complexity, according to the back label. Mocha and dark chocolate from oak aging then step back to reveal dark fruit, violets, anise and spice on the palate. This wine needs serious cellar time then decanting before you enjoy it with hearty meat dishes."
